The Company dates its origins to the year 2014 and was established with the corporate mission – “to help Surgeons treat their Patients better”.
We are the exclusive Authorized Distributor for Avana Medical Devices (Pvt) Ltd., India representing ARTHREX a global Medical Device company based in USA and a leader in New Product Development and Medical Education in Orthopaedics. Our wide network of relationships with the Government sector constitutes the Ministry of Health (Teaching, General and Base Hospitals), The Medical Supplies Division, The State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, and the Biomedical Engineering Services Division where we have gained considerable traction in the numerous tenders, funded projects and other procurements that we participated in. We have a proud record of a large installed base of our entire product portfolio in the leading Private sector Healthcare institutions such as Asiri Group of Hospitals, Durdans Hospital, Hemas Hospitals, Nawaloka Hospitals, and Lanka Hospital to name a few.

“Ortho Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. was established in 2014 representing Arthrex - a global Medical Device company and leader in New Product Development and Medical Education in the Orthopaedics space.
Our value proposition, in terms of the product portfolio and technical services that we represent, caters to the diverse categories of Government and Private sector Healthcare institutions throughout the country. As such, we have a proud record of a large installed base of our entire product portfolio constituting Orthopaedic Implants, Instruments, Trauma, Power Tools, Orthobiologics and Arthroscopy Systems in various Government and Private Sector Hospitals in Sri Lanka.
Our Management team comprising of accomplished and experienced professionals are dedicated to being customer centric and solutions oriented and collectively have a total of over 150 years of progressive work experience in their respective industries.

Mr. Manilal Fernando, Chairman, Ortho Lanka (pvt) Ltd., is an Attorney-at-Law by profession appointed by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka since 1972. He is the former President of the Bar Association of Kalutara. Since 1996 he has held Senior Level board positions in many blue-chip companies and conglomerates in diverse industries such as Manufacturing, Logistics & Supply Chain, Automobile, Investment Trust and Diversified Businesses. He is also currently the Chairman of Stallion Holding and Dynamic AV Technologies (Pvt) Ltd., and Managing Director of Mesta Gama (Pvt) Ltd.The Healthcare Landscape – Sri Lanka
